Meet the Author

Hi, I am Natalie, formulation scientist and owner of BeautySci Studios.

Over the past 7 years I have helped develop a variety of personal care products while gaining valuable experience working at a brand, contract manufacturer and now as a consultant.

But I remember my first few months in the industry like it was yesterday. Feeling lost, confused and overwhelmed trying to navigate this new industry. I may have had the science background but I quickly realized that succeeding as a cosmetic chemist required much more than that. So, I set out to write the guide I wish I had when I first started my career.

If this guide saves you a few months of confusion, helps you ask better questions, or gives you confidence walking into your first meeting, then it has accomplished exactly what I set out to do.

Welcome to the cosmetic industry, I'm excited to be a small part of your journey!
